I had 2....lost one at elsinore because i put it on ralphs boat right where there was a pinstripe. make sure you put them on flat clean surfaces.

They dont float so I have been thinking about using some old foam coozies, cut out the bottom and wrap them around the bases of the stands to help keep them afloat.

just curious, did you click the banner on the site to purchase it? which one did you get? The one I have is the original non-hd...non-widescreen. plain jane. it was when they first came out and didnt have all the cool options they have now.

I didn't buy it by clicking on the banner. I bought it off of Ebay for quite a bit less. Supposedly still in the box. It's the 5mp and I think wide.

Got it yesterday via USPS. It is 5mp, not wide. Works great and including shipping I got it for $68. You gotta love Ebay!!!

fantastic little camera IMO.  The AVI files generated are a PITA if you are on windows, if you have a MAC you will quickly be making GREAT home movies of your trips.
ONLY use the battery type recommended, and memorize the blinking light pattern or you may end up with stills instead of video feed.

In my case-

Thanks for the heads up!! Nice video! I will definitely have to learn what the blinks mean first, I guess, lol
