mine is still not running and ive been thinking of putting it on hold for a bit until i can finish my other projects rather than hurrying to throw this boat together and half ass it

My is running, but I want to rewire it. Last weekend I shorted wires for the electric fuel pump and had to replace the ignition switch.
It kind of suprised my wife when she came in to shore and turned off the key and the engine kept running

Count me in as having a boat that won't float... for now. Decided to have the gel professionally done on the wreidt, so it might be a few more months... hopefully

Good choice. Not that I'm doubting you could do a gel coat job... but with the history you've got in your boat you're going to be much happier with a professional gel coat job.

For the record, I have two boats, and they are both running. The boat I got from The Chaz I no longer have. The Mach 1 can be running at any given time simply by turning the key. The family outboard powered boat can also be running at any given time by turning the key.
