Now that's some funny shizznit!
As of today my boat is now down. I'm selling my Jet-A-Way...great piece...just no room in the back seat. That and my boat rides really wet even with it trimmed so I'm wondering if that is due to the motor being farther forward than it was originally.
That and I took the intake off to get it cleaned up (I used to have a fuel leak at the secondary bowl and it stained the manifold). I'm gonna have it bead blasted and powder coated clear. When I got this motor running, a buddy of mine installed the intake while I was finishing up the electrical...he must've used a whole tube of RTV around the intake ports. I was pissed. In any event I got all that shit off, but now I'm gonna have to pull my oil pan and check to make sure none of it got into the motor.
Also gonna clean out the bilge and a few other things that need to get done with the motor out.
Hopefully I'll have her up and running in about a month.
