I'm a huge fan of all things RD....... I had a '77 RD400 cafe racer. Rear-sets, clubman bars and bar-end mirrors and a small quarter-fairing. It had Spec II pipes was bored 30-over and just falt out hauled ass. Here's a great website for all things Two-stroke.
www.motocarrera.comThey're not the cheapest but they do really nice work and are a wealth of knowledge. Keep it stock....... and it will only go up in value. That was the only year for the Daytona Special and it was the last year of availability here. The RZ350s were available but they were water-cooled and didn't come around til about 1983,,,,,,,, between those years would have to get creative to bring one over from Canada.
good luck and be careful. The power band on those things tends to be a little unpredictable and can get you in a world of trouble really fast.
