My old tow rig: 1970 Blazer with a TBI 350 (1st paintjob I ever did) >:(...used it for local lake.

....and for longer hauls, my 96 Z-71.

Sold the ol' cruiser so currently I'm boatless.

Heres my baby, 2000 F250 7.3 ext cab short bed, 4in lift in the front nada in the back on 35s. Custom Dp tuner, 4in exhaust, custom intake, stage 1 injectors. Tows like a fricken mule, Ive had 14,000 on a goose behind her n getting the load moving wasnt a problem, stopping was  ;D

Time to bump this one again. I'll go first. I am making progress on my fantasy tow rig. It was 1 year ago this month I started tearing down the first of the three trucks that went into this mashup. 2 weekends ago I got it safe and legal and out on the street for the first time!  8)

First picture is how it looks now - still rough and still 100's of things left to do. 2nd pic is where I'm headed with it. 4" drop on the rear, some slight fender mods, OEM 17 wheels and a 3" shorter nose job. Even though it looks like an old truck - under the skin it is a stock 96 GMC 1500 w/5.7, auto, air, cruise, tilt, airbags (the ones for your face), smog, blah blah.

Oh yeah and there's not a tow hitch in sight yet - but it's on the list!

Here's my rigg '05 Tundra 3" Total Chaos lift,  full RaceRunner Coils/shocks. Dick Cepek 17" wheels Bassani exhaust, all the bells and whistles  hopefully it will be sold this winter so I can get the truck I want.
