OUCH! I really dig the cross the street to make lunch part but wow! $199 mo.... My boat didn't cost that much! LOL
I'd hate to run into that situation without having a choice (which I'm sure you did) otherwise.
Reminds me of many years ago when I first got some money in my pocket and I went down to the Chevy dealer to make an offer on that shiny blue new Corvette Stingray I'd been eyeballin since it came off the truck - I'd done the math over and over and I KNEW that I could afford it. I made a sweet deal with the dealer, smiles all around until it was time for me to leave. Well you'll have to switch your insurance over to the new 'vette, no problem I think.... Long story short, I didn't drive off in my shiney blue Stingray - still in my 20's my insurance man laughed when I told him I got a new 'vette, then he said NOPE, we don't insure those! Calls around town mostly got hung up on, finally found one agent that would write the coverage - ALMOST DOUBLE the car payment. Crap, says I...I could buy 2 spares to replace this one if anything ever happened, I just couldn't stomach that the insurance company wanted twice as much as the Chevy dealer did. Took me another 20 years.... :-(
