Launch Ramp in Topock?

Hey Guys,
 has anyone launched before at Topock? I want to meet some friends up at the Sandbar this weekend but dont want to get the weed curse like i got at Moabi last month. From the looks of this google earth shot, looks like a launch ramp. But it also looks like seaweed city! Any suggestions?

The sign at the ramp says ( welcome to the worst launch ramp on the river )
Just launch at moabi from the penisula.
Thats where i will be launching this weekend..

I dont think I can float my boat deep enough on that ramp and still get my Expedition out of the water.  :(

On our day cruiser floating with the back tires barely in the water..

If that is still not an option.  Than Jack Smith or needles marina.
Or i can always pull you out. With the Chevy >:D

Hey gq a buddy of mine launches his 24' Lavey craft there. I have helped him also to launch with my 99 expedition and have had no problems. The only time you will have probs is when they let the water level get real low. Then you need to go to the ramp

no weed in topock marina it's a steep ramp though with a dropp off youll be all right stay to right trust me i live 5 mile and 4 min from there
