We took the kids to Castaic last Sunday and ran the boat around the lake for a few hours. There were only three or four other boats out that morning. My son and daughter drove it quite a bit. We haven't had the boat out much. This is the first time in quite a while. It sat with a broken distributor for a few months. Finally got that diagnosed and repaired by MSD. The boat is basically the same as when we bought it from Ray. We added a wooden steering wheel, a Hurst shifter knob, rewired some gauges, plumbed a water valve up at the driver's seat, put in an oil cooler. We're thinking about to upholster the pulley cover in cowhide just to complete the whole theme.
