i have used the marina several times and leaving it in over night is super convenient.
There are absolutly so wakes or anything and you dont need to worry about the boat banging around.
You will be able to see your boat from your room so i would say launch it and pull it out after the weekend.
you will love it, you just need a couple bouys and ropes.

But what do you fellas use to tie up to a dock or park in a slip? Do you tie up on one side? Suspend it in the middle and jump to the dock?
Looking at the fenders that came with mine, they look unused and the boat only has one little whiskey ding on the rub rail.. almost like he docked it once or twice.

The rear pop up cleat is in a good spot but the boat gets wider between there and where I can loop it on the bow rail. I haven't yet  found any decent suction cups that I can rig on.. I don't plan on using a dock all the time but I'd like to have a little system to it in the event.

Anyone try using suction cups with rope and fenders? Wonder if it would fall off in the heat and leave it to get dock rash..

ugghhhh i have nightmares on leaving my dana out in parker overnight... I was staying at a friends place that had a dock in a little community and i left it out overnight.. Woke up to a call from the neighbors asking if they had friends over wtih a jet boat.. MY friends replied yes why? " well its underwater "... Yup just the bow sticking up. jet was resting on the bottom of the channel.. LAST TIME i ever leave my boat out over night.. But thats just me!!! I think i had a small leak lol..

regardless of small leak or some douche messing with a plug the bilge pump will only run for so long.  figure a couple hours and it'll be underwater anyways. 

I've never had a problem. To answer your question I had a hook for the bow eye and a loop that went on the ski tow. Centered in the slip and stepped in. Go to west marine or wherever, get some nylon rope, make one for the bow, one for the stern and call it done.

West marine is your friend... They'll make ropes and have some little attachments that work really good for bumpers. And we've docked out boats for as long as I can remember, never had a problem other than maybe bird shit off the cover or swim steps. Easiest way to figure out what you need is to test it, all docks are different so it's hard to say that one way will work all the time.
