Thought I'd give some insight into what it is like to move an operation like ours (and still run a business and have a "life" Heres some pics of 15 years of accumulation of "stuff" ,plus the JBP beer trucksemi-trailer  now know as "Beer Run" Very excited to go to new "digs" after 15 years  of being "cramped"

The new shop inside (before "cleanup") they "booted" this guy to make room for us , huge office , "clean room for engines and pumps , unlimited parking , and an Ass load of more floor/ space for the shop

Wow, When I moved my shop (closed it would be more accurate) I went from a 3800 square foot building with a 1500 square foot back fenced lot to a single car garage and a 10X10 storage shed, not to mention the seven (7) boats and trailers.


Good luck with that Tom, I remember saying, "why the hell did I save that"? about 100,000 times.

Being a "saver" I actually found alot (like Glen said) that I looked at and went WTF?? (dumpster time) why did I keep that??  conversley I discovered a lot of cool sh*t I forgot I had RE the move It will be an ass kicker this time of year but with the semi trailer (which the new landlord has approved to stay on premisis) and the Pallets and tubs , we think the "pain" will be lessened , biggest thing top transition is the "infrastucture" eg surveillance, air lines, phones ,dsl, addy changes  The rest is all "grunt"   

In  the new complex theres a Tow service, a high line body shop , a fiberglass repair and a lot of other "coplimenting" businesses

my questions are #1  after the pump boys left they simply set the lids back down  if they arent sealed wont rain water leach in thru the soil?
Tommy, get some Henry's roofing mastik and re-seal the lids where they meet the tank, this will also help keep the stink down.

Excellent idea, I've done them for people before, we usually dig a large hole, put about a 12" of 2" drain rock on the bottom, take a 55 gal drum and punch it full of holes, fill this with 1" to 2" drain rock mix, run your discharge hose to the drum, bury the drum about 12-18" above and on the sides with 2" drain rock and cover with soil, the rocks break up the soap, lint, etc and the water leaches out into the soil, no harm, no foul.

will it hurt to make ann above ground "stand pipe" so's I can dump my Camper? (nows the time)
You'd be silly not to do it, find the inlet side of your septic, assuming it's 4" you're gonna need a 4"X4"X3" "combo" fitting, cut this in, run the 3" to wherever you want your camper dump, give it 1/4" per foot of slope, add a threaded female adapter and plug and you're home free.

Yes it does, between that and running your washing machine into the gravel pit, you'll extend not only the life of the thing, but also the time between services from the shit sucker guys. If you can find it use Hercules Products;

For Hotels I've used Priceline since around 04/5 and have paid between $30 to maybe max $80 per night at most Hotels. Always try and book 4 star.

Moving sucks big time. I'm still in the middle of moving houses and because of it could not go too Vegas last week! Real bummer cause my former neighbors daughters 21st., so would have been me and 4 college chicks. 

Lookin good. I might also hit you up for mounts when I get up there. We are going to try and be there Friday and just do the round trip thing. Anyone in Yuma area that needs to get some parts etc to Tom, let me know. I'll be happy to toss it in the bed of my truck for ya.

How far from the old joint are you guys moving Tommy?  New shop looks killer.

Shop is looking great.  I wish my move would go as quick as yours and you have way more stuff.  Don't forget to reimind the new landlord not to back into any of your customer's boats in the lot.  And make sure you post your new address in as many places as possible so we'll be able to find you.  Or more correctly so our broken stuff can find it's way to you.
