i know youre young and think you'll just bounce back, but that shit is nothing to fock around with. look at skip, he's focked for life.

go see the doc...at least get it on record with work. if you just shrug it off and go on using it, its going to burn you in the end.

who knows, it might be something serious. theres some super sensitive shit in your shoulder that doesnt heal fast or at all.

Rest it and alternate hot and cold packs after a day or two.   Right now only cold ones for as long as you can stand it to keep swelling down.  Alternate between aspirin and ibuprofen.   Do NOT take more than the reccommended dosage of either or you will damage your liver.  Read the bottle.

It may hurt for the rest of your life if you tore something.   Most people who have a surgery to repair things never get back to 100%.   Sorry

Josh-

It's called a rotator cuff, and it's a mother focker to come back from. Do like Brad says, go see the doc, and make sure you tell them it happened at work. Don't fukc around with this, I'm officially retired in about 3 more weeks, due to my shoulder injury. Well not really retired, but I won't be a plumber any longer, gotta get vocational rehabilitation.

DO NOT FOCK AROUND WITH THIS. YOU WILL GET OLD.

you need to listen to theses guys, i was hurt on the job when i was 19 years old. 3 knee surgerys in three years to try and fix the problem jump ahead to now. i am 42 and i walk like a 75 year old man and my dam knees hurt all the time, cause i though it was fixed and didnt bother to keep going to docs over the last 20+ years to keep gettin them fixed, so go to the dam doc. you will thank us in 20 years and yes we will still be here telling you what to do....good luck and keep us posted..

JS-
Not saying your doc isn't a good one, but I would seriously second guess that diagnosis, my first doc said frozen shoulder, it ain't frozen, it's just focked. My old man gets frozen shoulder, trust me, when they say frozen, they literally mean frozen, as in can't move it, at all.

I had RC surgery 5 years ago, 100% recovered from it, then last summer, something snapped & popped in my shoulder, I'm still focked.

Nordie, just a word to the wise and I'll never say nothing more about it. ( I have a shoulder injury that affects me from time to time as well).

Back problems, shoulders, knees, any other consistent malady like this can be blamed on a LIFETIME of abuse. When ones back goes out, and horribly wrong, requiring surgery, fusion, whatever, they can usually name what caused it. What they fail to realize is it's a lifetime of abuse on it that actually caused it. That one incident is when it finally gave out is NOT the culprit. It's the several thousand dozens of times you've done the same dumb thing.

Just my .02
