Is that original paint? And that for $1200 it really isn't a bad little boat. Yeah it needs some tlc but it has potential! Rogers are good hulls, I love mine.

I talked with Eddie, he has the face book tribute sight for Rogers, he said if I ever wanted to try to have a get together, He would post on his page. How many active scjb Rogers guys do you know of?

I don't know too many other Rogers owners. I'm still fairly new to scjb. Would like to meet some fellow Rogers owners soon though. And 76 Bonneville, do you have any big plans for it? Would be cool to see some before and after pictures throughout the process.

Only 5 Brad, sold a couple.
18' Cyclone (Raspberry)
2- 18' Super Cyclones (possibly a 3rd this summer)
19 Bonneville TR
20' Bonneville Classic

The 3rd Super Cyclone would be the one I drove back in 1972 when I was 11.
Have to get to Minnesota to pick it up.
It's in a field with weeds growing out of it.

surprised you did not find this Rogers first.

I am saving your story about my Rogers until I get pics on and write up some stories. Been quite busy going to Burley finishing race boat. Just running a 8.1 496 with 9:1 and Cam. Need more seat time to complete license! Maybe I can buy another Rogers for boat number 4!

I'm sure ron would have found it first but it wasn't even for sale. It had been sitting in my coworkers back yard for years, I went over there and took it off his hands. Once I said it was for sale Ron was the first call I got. I'm glad it went to him, he's a super cool guy.

You guys will get a kick oout of this Rogers. Its a 1977 Dragstar. 468, blown, injected. Bought this about a year ago and havent' even had it on the water. Not getting a spark. It was raced at Lake Ming in the early 90's. Maybe if there is a Roger's regatta it will give me the incentive to resurect this beast!

Was this the one that was for sale in the Reno area?
