Looks like roost really knows his shit  ;D Glad everything worked out great . From my experience , if it has too much timing it'll just start running like shit . Falling on its face sooner that it would if the timing was right on . I'd keep goin 1 or 2* at a time . I'm gonna guess 36* - 38* is where it'll run best I think . Stock heads seem to like alot of timing . If you keep having all these great days at the lake , your gonna have to start a new thread .  :P  ;D

BTW , How'd the Mrs. like it ?

It's very cool that you're happy with it now. Nothing's worse than being frustrated with a boat and not being able to make it do what you know it's capable of. I have one of those now  :-\ It's going back out to the Shack this weekend for more testing, so if you're in the Bullhead area, just look for the funny looking slow jet with the blinding gold metalflake.
BTW, what rpm were you turning before, and how many now?
Keep in mind that adding more advance will not have the dramatic effect you've just felt. It may only give you a mile or two per hour (MAYBE). There are other tricks to get a little more out of it without busting the budget, but hey, it's only money.  ;D
