I had a bit reticence over posting this here because it is a boat forum and political shit usually goes over like a fart in church, but in my view this is sort of a watershed event in terms of personal freedoms and civil liberties of American citizens, and citizens in general of the world (since we're spying on them as well).
And just FYI-this amendment was defeated by a very narrow vote, so I would still encourage people to contact their representatives and ask them why they think the violation of the 4th amendment rights to privacy aren't important to them.
This is a really sad day for America, this is sort of like the final nail in the coffin of freedom.
