And then team Dart, Had to go play around in the dirt..............

i dont wish wrecking a car on anyone, but those evo guys had it coming....their egos were bigger then their driving ability.....and that always spells disaster.

It didn't show this on the show.... but He was asked to do "another take" after our challenge... just for better camera angles, etc. He did the whole challenge again, and then was doing it in reverse. He had too much speed carrying into the corner, and then over corrected.... and hit a curb about 2" tall, that slowly tapered up to about 2' tall.... So he went all spanky spangler style and rolled it twice.

2.73:1 Gears, 4 speed, 600lbs of torque, and 6" wide street tires= driving on ice... But he owned it and we did what we could to try and get it on the road the next day. The front end was 3" over to the left, and rear end broke the dowel pins on the leaf springs, EVERY panel was tweaked, firewall seperated, front suspension bent, all glass broke.... we'll see next episode what happens 

and the show is covering the repairs, right? 

Nope.... you go onto Bullrun and pretty much risk everything... we signed the contracts, and it wasn't their fault it was rolled, it was driver error.... But since the end of filming my father has bought 6 more Darts LOL

fuk tony...i just watched the show had it dvr'd...wow..my heart is still pounding....sorry to both crews...evo and dart...now i know why you couldnt bring it to the premire....hope all turns out well in the end good luck team dart always rooting for you guys!!

  I didn't want to look in here until I saw the show.

  I just caught the late showing, .  That was really sad to see !!!   

 

what kinda irks me about the whole deal is how they spun it that your dad was acting a fool off the course and wrecked it on his own.

they had footage of him rolling it obviously if they were re-running the course for more angels, but refused to show it because it would have made the show look guilty because he crashed his car for something completely unnessesary. i hope you and your dad (and the rest of the cast) are able to get it back on the road for the next episode.

hats off to the rest of the cast for jumping in and helping out.   ...kinda felt SCJB-ish.

Wow, very observant indeed  Yea he was running the course again for some better angles.... then one thing led to another and OOPS.... Shit happens man, gotta move on....

The show is "finally" starting to get cool...
