The CP 19 got
New control cables and swapped out the old 1973 style nozzle for the Place FTN. Went with the 3 1/16" turquoise insert. That's what the guys at Place Diverter recommended. Any one else running a different insert on there winger?
Happy boating 👍

Picked my boat up from the wrap shop. Turned out pretty darn good. If anyone is interested let me know and I will send you his info. Now I will have the grey carpet installed and seats should be back middle of next week.

It's hot pink metallic and charcoal grey metallic. Looks super good and way brighter in person. They are going to do my boat trailer next.

So I got my rail kit 99% done, need to go get the correct u-joints to install the driveline and set final position.

When I bought the boat it had a nasty vibration, I talked to a few guys on here and Facebook forums and they confirmed it was because the motor was crooked as all hell. Here's my driveline angle before:

And most importantly here's what it looks like now...

first time out today at Elsinore. Something definitely wasn't right with the pump. The bowl is chewed up inside and the impeller is trash. Looks like someone ran it through some shallow water and sucked up a bunch of rocks. Found a golf ball sized rock wedged in the impeller. First time jet boat owner problems. Took a guys word for it and didn't a look at the pump myself. Guess it's time to upgrade. B.O.A.T.

Just checked on my pump rebuild. Thank you Jim Brock for taking care of this. If you guys remember, my new energizer pump from last year failed. I didn't know why. Jim's original assessment was that I ran the pump on the trailer (which I didn't). Then I was thinking that the pump failed because I was backing my wife in the water and I didn't know she was closing the reverse bucket. Well when Jim took it apart, he found some interesting stuff. A Berkeley wear ring (the thick one) was epoxied into the adapter, no insulator. The impeller wasn't the energizer one and didn't fit the bowl right. The thrust bearing was shielded on both sides. Water seal was gone. The shaft was scored and the correct thrust bearing would just slide off of the shaft. Son of a gun.
