I'd just be really bummed if I spent all that money and wasn't happy with the outcome. I've heard they are the best so I'm probably just over reacting. I'm sure it will be fine.

Nice! I had a 65 Elco when I was 18. Spent a ton of money on it with candy paint, nice interior, and all new trim, grill, and bumpers. Traded it for my first jet boat that was worth about 5k. I kick myself in the ass for that now!

Hell yeah, someone got a deal! It's crazy how the value on these cars skyrocketed. I remember shopping for a first Gen camaro in the late 90s and you could get a driver project under 5k. That gets you a rusted shell now if your lucky.

Does anyone see a reason why I couldn't use this on my olds? Same thread pitch and Ls filters have the same 2 5/8 oring as the hp2 filter I run. This is the shortest one I can find at 1 1/4". Having a clearance issue between the bottom of filter and the hull

Dropped the boat off at Martinez Marine Interiors today. Eddie spent a bunch of time going over all the details with me and all my ideas. I'm really excited to see the finished product. Should be a nice clean retro look!
