Been all winter since I've been on here finally got my bbc 468 to the dyno had her broken in and tuned
She made 455ft lbs at 3k 500ft lbs at 4600rpm
400hp at 4800 rpm
The tunnel ram really killed the hp numbers but I'm building an old school boat with nostalgic parts so I got nostalgic numbers.

This weekend I'll be glassing in my new aluminum tank mountains then after their set up I'll install the engine finally.

Got home from work sanded out the floors prepping for Saturday morning layup and not sure if I ever posted what the seats turned out like but I'm happy with them kept it old school as well. Good thing my brother in law builds shit for the gov. out of carbon fiber and I'll have him doing the fiber glass work.

Cut off the rusted baffled bassetts
Added some long ass tubing tigged in place going to go with a old school Le Mans theme
Flat white like the old Ferraris and Porsches use to run in the 60-70s

I've got a stack of old catalogs including that one. Got Hardin, Rex, and a few others there bad ass! Are they worth anything? Hah

If you have that book they start at $54 in good used condition on amazon and there's one on ebay for $ 99. Only reason I got it had a $50 gift card to amazon. List those bad boys on ebay it's free and heck you never know. Extra beer and gas money is awesome.

Well the Miller has not sold, so I decided to clean it up and run this season. Pulled the the pump, tanks, seats, and battery tray. Will be pulling all the old nasty carpeting next weekend.

Modified the oil pickup
Installed distributor
Installed keyway, crank collar and balancer.

Got a game plan for this week. Getting exciting.

Nick at Madskillzfab made me these bitchen new billet swim step brackets to replace my old shitty cast ones that the bolts broke off inside of when I removed them. Can't wait to get them polished and clear powdered so I can put them on! Thanks again Nick!!

Not bad for my first fiberglass job might lay a 3oz cloth over to cover any imperfections used bondo to adhere the brackets to the floor then sanded and glasses over. Wanted a nicer finish so I think sanding it all out and laying a hot finish coat over the entire thing will clean it up.
Next instal tanks get silicone elbows for the filler necks.

Got all the parts to plumb the oil cooler. Ordered ptfe hose because I'm gunna redo my fuel lines also. The -8 look like just clear tubing inside the braid and the -6 looks like regular hose? Both are supposedly ptfe did I get the wrong stuff? And I don't need special hose ends for ptfe do I?
