The wife says I gotta bring the kids.    Sooo is anyone besides Vegas bringing youngins?  My boys are 8 and 5 and love boats.  I told em they can be anchors if they are good    They get to ride in the engine compartment if they are bad. Tough love baby...

I bringin em. 8 and 6 year old girls. The reason I booked at the Blue water is they have a few indoor pools and an indoor water park so if the girls get bored on the water all day they can go inside and play.

YEP!!! im bringing my kids too........10yr and 2 yr old girls...most likely to stay @ blue water...damn 300.00 for the weekend!! i better work over time...

I wanted to be able to use to slide and pool for the kids, as well as the marina, just easier that way

BeerJet turned me on to the Best western last summer. Very reasonable rates, rooms were OK, lots of boat parking (and great margaritas) across the street. Opposite end of town from Blue Water tho. Rooms at the Blue Water are real pricey! Are all the rooms at Bridge Inn sold out already?

I usually do stay at the bestwestern and it's nice . Being walking distance from good food and drink dont hurt either  The blue water isnt very far from there . The kicker is the speed limit on that highway , it's like 35 mph so it seems like it takes an eternity . Believe me , the best western was my first choice but they did not want to give me a groupe rate . The bridge Inn IMO is the best bang for the buck . I'm a strong believer in supporting those that support you so that will be my new place . It's by no stretch of the imagination a luxery resort . I've stayed a few other places and relativley , it's just as nice . The breakfast cafe next door is tasty too. The cold wheather needs to stop so I can get crackin on my shit though .

From what Omar told me its pretty close. 5 or 10 minutes. The problem is the speed limit is 35mph through town.
