Intake was removed and replaced, but this did not help.  It will be in Parker in a few days, maybe someone there can figure it out ???
Running a tunnel ram intake, right? The intake port underneath the carburetor has eight thread holes, same for the second carb. Drive set screws for the ones you are not using. I bet they are drilled all the way through causing an air leak; that was my problem. Hope this helps.

i know its late in the game and a longshot, but does anyone have an EXTRA set of baffles for bassett twisties, that they might be willing to bring to parker and possibly loan/rent them to me if the need arrises, i do not have a set and don't want to ruin the weekend in case i get pulled over.  i have never had a problem in parker yet.  but want to prepare just in case.

i will be running baffles in my boat....i thought about takin them out, but for no reason to other then to be obnoxious.

i had them in for that trip nick and i did from needles to havasu and back. that night my ears were still ringing.  :screwy:
