Myself and Jetaholic will be meeting at the Blue Water and launching from there as well since it's $8 or so to launch .

Hotel: Its the "Bridge Inn" Formerly motel 6 . I've stayed there and it's nice and there is plenty of parking directly across the street . There is no boat parking on the premises . It is the best deal in town I think and the rooms are nice . Rooms will have refer. microwaves and jamming AC . Myself and Jetaholic have reserved 10 rooms each . You can call them directly between 3pm and 11 pm and speak with pablo who is in charge of our group and knows exactly what is going on . Tell him you are with the So cal Group to get the discounted rate of $56.10 + tax which is right around $62-$63 a night . The rooms I have reserved are for Fri. and Sat. night but when you take a room from the list , you can change it to what ever dates you want .

SOB, I went out to do a final check on the trailer ect and found out the Break lights dont work if the headlights are on. Everything worked fine with the lights off. I hit the breaks and the whole light goes dead. I decided to go buy a new wire harness for hook up at the truck as mine was a bit frayed from off roading. Installed new one same thing. Followed wires around noticed nothing irregular. Hit the breaks and fuse blows, relplaced and again. Now really upset, I know there must be a short somewhere. Followed wires around, checked clearance lights etc taped a few potential spots and I am back in business

just got here....only boat here at the bridge inn is rivertard......went to terribles and got me a microwave egg mc muffin since everything seemed to be closed......boy, it sure was TERRIBLE.

off to bed.....

Sounded like the first issue was your trailer isn't grounded to the truck (you have an open, not a short) . The Brakes are finding ground through the running lights and vice versa.

The second part after the new wiring install, you may have a short now if it blows the fuse, and you still prob have the ground disconnected.

still runnin like poo. got some leads on some stuff to get the boat running the way it should be. thanks 'tard and jeremy!

parker strip was REALLY crowded and rough today....took my boat out past the bend and beat the crap out of it. water was so rough my boat would have probably sunk if i tried to float.

so rivertard, jeremy and myself put the boats on the trailer and made a trip down to big river. couldnt have asked for better water.

the beer is callin my name....more later.
