In all honesty, color don't mean a damn thing..........
I recommend two different lubes that will both mix fairly well with virtually anything....

Any NLGI 2 grease using lithium as a base. The synthetic stuff seems be mix with anything...I only know this from using tons of different greases and word of mouth (nothing from a lab)...
It's sort of like engine oil. Your better off putting the wrong oil in than nothing at all....

You should really be replacing the grease seals and cleaning and inspecting the bearings for wear every couple of years. Having lost a wheel bearing in the middle of BFE at three in the morning is all that had to happen for me to do it at the beginning of each season.
