Anyone here live in Pacific Beach, SD?
« on: February 29, 2016, 07:23:29 PM »
I'm looking for some help finding the source of water in my oil. None of the local boat shops are answering and I need to get started ASAP before oxidation takes its course.

The question is how long has the water been in there. And how much?

How do you know it's a bearing?

Speed of clicking, it could be the flywheel but that's wishful thinking. I figure with reduced lubrication a bearing is a common thing to go. Thoughts?

Is it coming from back of engine? If it is could be gimbal bearing. Might just need to be greased

The gimbal bearing is in an I/O.

It just made an unexpected right turn while under heavy acceleration is all.

Hahaha
