NO REGRET$ ... Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics / no matter how good you do you're still retarded!!!!!
Not sure where else to put this sooo...Anyone got any information on running a tunnel hull in circle races? I think Brad said somewhere that "back in the day" tunnels ran circle races all of the time. I've done some internet searching but have found absolutely nothing on the subject. Anyone?
Supposedly a Rogers Bonniville makes an excellent circle boat! I think Terry Valore has one for sale.
Just do it! Who cares what other people say, go play in a lake and see if it turns...
Yes! My dad Terry Valore did race a tunnel hull. It was a sleekcraft tunnel 20ft. He says out of all the boats he has driven it was the best handling boat. We would still be racing that boat if it didnt get destroyed in the 2005 Long Beach race.
... SQUAK!
How did it get destroyed?
"Rumor control" says tunnel hulls would rather flip over than turn. Circle racing looks like a sh!tload of fun, dieing has never looked like fun to me. When I did have my tunnel on the water it would only do 49 mph, not exactly the kind of boat that would win races, and not fast enough for me to "feel" how it turned.
I think i remember hearing about a helicopter type of incident.
your tunnel probably handles diff than my daytona, mine doesn't feel like it wants to flip but it is wicked feeling turning flat, something that took some getting used to, and i can still scare the shit out of passangers
i dont but im all for stuffin shit in her ass to make her go away
It sure is funny how much Omar really knows , as he sits back and listens more.He has way more insight than most on this forum. But he usually refrains from coment.
Thats the way to do it, sit back and be a sponge, and then when its time to wring it out. Everybody gets their ass kicked Go Beerjet Go 2sav
Ohhhh , how cute! Beerjet has a cheerleader!
I wouldent want you to get your pom pom's all ruffled for no reason , continue your doing a good job.
... Rod , with your boat having a pod on the back , I would look into that aspect of it . I bet nobody knows and some lake test might be in order -beerjet-
