Take two fours and install them 10-2 o-clock.

  I have one of each on the wedges not two, what I have going on is I bought a ARP stub kit but the shoulder is 3/8 to long on the stud

  Still playing with the hardware setup on the pump droop was down below the rideplate 3/4, rideplate is set at 3 degrees now and droop is up 3/4 above the rideplate

Shouldn't hurt anything being below the plate.  Do it all the time.

I had a 4 degree wedge in it to start with which put me below the rideplate shouldn't hurt being above also I'm thinking less drag in the water plus one less bend in the setup.

Intake, rideplate etc was all setup with the right angles, why I decided to add the 4 degree wedge and leave it I do know, was told I didn't need it, with the straighter trust angle hopefully I'll see some improvements.

Don't concern yourself too much with the bends. The effect is (IMO) immeasurable.

The concern lies with the actual thrust line (aka X dimension) and how the hull reacts to that height.
