I had a points dizzy for years and one day it just gave up.. called Mallory and sent it in and they gave me a unilite... Cost me about $150 it was a re-man but basically brand new.. couldn't tell the difference.. oh and unless its a closed engine compartment on a boat you do not need a marine dizzy.. just get a standard automotive one..Sent from my ADR6400L using SoCalJetBoats mobile app
I had Brand new Imco Tanks made on my Hallett after havins serious fits with the old tanksI have replaced All fuel lines (Larger) pick up tubes (Larger) everything tank to carb and when I first ran the boat still felt the affects of those old Fiberglass tanks and shit in my Holley. Difficult battle Make sure its a spark issue but I wouldnt be surprised if its still that good ole Fiber Flakes and shards of glass in theremy particular experience was my fuel pressure was 6 and I was trying to think of what could be wrong. What was wrong was I had a junk in the carb However I did buy a standalone MSD On my Tahiti I ran a Petronix for years was great for the money.
Anymore ideas on the milkshake before I yank these heads? It's gunna get real expensive once I pull them. Manga flux, getting them rednecked ect....
If i get some free time tonight at work, ill play with it and post it for everyone to see.
Time to man up and yank it John! Ray
Also, if your battery does not show you 12.5 volts static, it is a junk battery. Put a jumper on the (+) side of the coil right to battery voltage and hit the key. It sounds like something is wired funky.....
What a BEAUTIFUL boat bud! I am Jealous!
Blake! You need to check your tail light fluid man!
