Is it considered paranoid if after just reading the last couple of post I had to go out in the garage and check my oil.

More power any news yet?

Finnally got the boat running right and the water out of the oil. Oil issue i had was after running up or down river for 10-15 minutes at 3000-3500rpms oil pressure would be good start at 60 and drop to 40 once it got warm. But as soon as id slow down and come off plane it would drop to 15-20 and hang there until id idle for a minute then its start climbing. Also the motor idles real low after a long run and is sometimes hard to keep idling without goosin the throttle. Its a 12 qrt pan of vr1 straight 50w.
I'd get an oil cooler.
What oil pump do you have?
Should be a high volume pump, it might not be circulating it around fast enough.
One thing at a time though.

Kind of a broad question I'm sure, but I'm gunna re upholster this thing here pretty soon and just want an approximate cost guess from you guys . I'll be building the seat frames myself and I don't need the removable seat cushions done because the p/o had them done. So just need the seat frames covered. Gunna stick with the original waffle stitching which I know will add to the cost a bit. I know there's a million variable but I just need a rough estimate so I know what I need to set aside $ wise. Thanks!

Probably $1500-$2000 ball park.
