Man, I really hate to do this to you, but this was brought to my attention and I can't just sit and let such BS go unchecked... Those on here that know me....Spoiler alert. This one is going to sting.
1976 SANGER CUSTOM BUILD 800 HORSE POWER. Turn Key.
800 horses huh? That is impressive... Got the dyno sheet to prove any of this? Or is this a guess by either you or your machinist?

Due to being laidoff of my job, sadly my boat must be sold to help out with the bills. I have entirely too much invested in it. I would never sell the boat otherwise however, finances are causing me to sell the boat. I can show, start etc the boat to anyone wanting more information. (570)-244-6145. Located in San Diego, do not let the (570) area code through you.
Throw........ You cannot "through" anything...

Professionally built 1976 Sanger Jet Boat. I have over $16,000+ in the professional engine buildup alone!
I would love to see that build sheet? Is it written on toilet paper?
I am only selling because I was layed off of my job, and now the boat must be sold. The boat is in great condition! The boat does have it's normal/typical scrape and spider cracks in the fiberglass from trailering it over the years (1976). This is a original 1976' Sanger Jet Boat. Trailer is original and boat has never been repainted. The original 455 Olds has been removed and I had the crate 502 BBC professionally buildup for this boat. Boat comes with it's original dual axle trailer in great condition, tires are in good shape also. I hold the Title to the Boat and Trailer in hand, clean and ready to go. I do not want to sell the boat as I will take a major loss, however due to my current situation I must let it go.
It is a 1975, but that I will let slide for now....

NADA value for this boat with the original 455 Olds is $13,500.
No, it didn't..... Remove the "1" in the front and you will be closer.
I had the crate 502 BBC professionally machined and built from the cam up! Engine Shop Build alone is $16,000+.
This made my ass hurt a little.... Sort of a pounding sensation... The cam is in the top......
I've had all of the maintenance done at a local marina here in San Diego. I welcome all open offers on the boat. If your not familiar with the River Rat Drag Boats please check out our Rat Club. DragBoatCity.com I welcome all questions please email if you have any! I will quickly respond to all open offers made on the boat. Boat runs strong and is very FAST! I have clocked it with my GPS at 90 mph
while not at full throttle 5,000 RPM.
OK, here is where the wheels simply fell off...... No, it didn't. You are staring at a 65 MPH boat dead in the face. Did you by chance buy your GPS from Craigslist? (inside joke)...
Too scared to open her up? You didn't do even the maintenance on it? You drive a Honda, don't you?
The boat seats 5/6 Adults.
How big are the people where you come from?
Interior is in great shape and I recently had the front seats re-upholstered. Boat comes with a custom boat cover and new bimini matching top for it that has been been on the boat other than for photos . I'm probably forgetting something, but I think I got about everything down here. Boat is for sale locally, I reserve the right to remove the auction early if the boat sells locally first. Boat is sold as is. Buyer must pickup the boat in person here in San Diego, CA. I will not ship the boat. I am a motivated seller! Must sell make offers. Any further question email me here at anytime. Also the boat is setup with a saltwater flush line - female to female- however, I have never put the boat in salt water, boat has only even seen freshwater lakes and rivers in California.
For any question regarding the boat you can contact me.

Asking $11,000 OBO.
Only selling because I was laid-off of my job as a business analyst. Text, call, or email me if you would like addition information or photos. I just spent $500 getting it timed and tuned up ready for the water. I will have it in Lake Hodges this weekend; I will post videos up on here and ebay for people interested. I will consider trades of equal value. I have $16k+ at the moment. Trades welcome for newer car or muscle car of equal value, no junk.
The bad news, this is a $3500 to $4500 boat, tops, on a Sunday. $6,000 if you found that one dude.....(you wont find him on here..)

?
I am not trying to beat you up... But you don't have any idea what you have, the information is all over the board. You have not driven that boat to 90 MPH, it is a quarter stringer Sanger (I Have owned both full and quarter stringer Sangers) A full stringer Sanger jet is as rare as girlfriend that wants to pay all the bills, is gorgeous and loves sex...
You need to do some math, get some block and head casting numbers and find the dyno and the build sheets, only then will you possibly be able to redeem yourself...
I would put good money on bad that this is either a 396 or a 402 with truck heads and runs out of poop at around the 65 MPH mark...
I am not sure if I, like crewchief, pooped in your Cherrios (WTH?), but you are not going to be able to come on here and pull the normal Craigslist BS. Have been at least a little curious why the boat is still for sale. No?
Here is how I will break this down for you..
Trailer estimated $800
Hull estimated $1500
Engine estimated $3500
Rigging estimated $500, $800 with headers...
Best case, $6600...
So there you go... Not hatin', just keeping it real up in here...
