Engine is in and nearly ready to go. Got it installed and broken in yesterday, today got a little wiring cleaned up and tomorrow will reinstall the alternator and interior

Had one little (expensive) mistake during the pre-start frenzie, when attaching the battery cable the alternator wire touched the oil pan and arc'd pretty bad and zapped my MSD

Yea, I'm looking forward to getting some time on the engine this weekend (I'll also have plenty of rope, just in case

)

Well, I equipped the Moo with a tow rope, 4 fire extinguishers, and a new set of jumper cables JIC Keith. (Lost those in the Blue Meaney ordeal) You should be ok, I don't think this area is that big, but you know better'n me.

Moo is coming too, I think, the damn dog found a place on the floor of the boat she was OK with when I flared her up again in the 'rage. She wasn't real happy, but she stayed put. I think she may spend the day with Brad and Callie if it doesn't work out, lol. We'll see. Gonna try it a few more times and see if she's actually that nervous about it. I think she'll be ok once she realizes it's not a bad thing and when we're moving in the water she'll be all into it. Ducks, well I worry about them. She's gotten 2 that happened to land in my pool, and she's now up to 28 pidgeons! (We keep track in the patio door jamb). Good dawg!!!!

Still gotta get those Box anchors and bungee ropes youins are talking about. Had the anchor on the Blue one when she sank to try it out (Never got to), I guess I'll just wait and get 'em in Parker. I'm sure those guys know what I need.

Sucks about the msd box keith...did the same thing putting mine back together but to the water lines for the headers...little bit cheaper...seems like we all forget about the alt wire and try welding something metal...glad to hear your going to make it...hope the motor turns out good...we'll see you n fam in a few days!

ray it goes from just above blythe to the dam just above the parker bridge, although big river is only the top portion and has roughly 10-15 miles of riverfront. you can float for hours, just depends on how far down you want to go.
