I just bought this and it doesn't fit in my dash and I don't want to bore out the hole. So, its up for sale. Used Autometer Autogauge 5" Monster Tach 10K rpm with external shift light. In good shape and I made sure it works. I paid $60 so that's all I'm asking for plus the ride. Figure USPS flat rate box $6 bucks for shipping. I will put up some pics later. Also willing to trade for Autometer marine tach. if anyone has one.

I've been crazy lazy this summer. But starting to pick up a few things to work on the Chub Tub. Got a Berk droop, now I need find steering extension (and a polisher so it'll match my pump lol) and just sent payment for a Dooley pan for the "back up" engine project.  Picked up a couple of sanding blocks and some 500 & 1000 grit wet/dry paper to start working on the gel coat. I'm going to try and start sanding it to have it ready for the YPT. We'll see how that goes.

Here's what I plan to do over winter
Replace gauges
Swap ignition from points to Duraspark
Re-plumb with blue hose & fittings
Possibly replace wire harness & switches
Install stereo, amp, & speakers
Have bimini re-covered
Possibly shoot clear over gel.

I also plan to keep collecting parts for back up engine. I want to build a 521 and then swap out the 460 and stroke it too and have a back up engine on a stand ready to go just in case. I don't want to have to miss a summer again. I'm also thinking of having a back up pump set up too.

MGD used to my favorite. Now like Hefs with slice of orange. Used to boycott all Bud products (brewery treated independent drivers like crap) but I'm very impressed with bud light platinum. Also, I was surprised by Heiny light. Usually avoid light beers.

Getting ready to switch up to 850dbl pumper. Looking for baseline jetting and whether I should run power valve on secondary. Note, choke horn removed. Was also thinking of trying reusable bowl/metering plate gaskets. Anyone have any problems with those gaskets?

Beltronics used to have a delay box that worked in conjunction with their detector. It would delay cop radar reading allowing you time to slow down. Worked with radar and laser. Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine tested it up to 100mph and were able to slow down each time before officer was able to get a reading. Only downfalls were it mounted on front of vehicle, so didn't pick up aircraft or behind you. Might be worth a look to see if they still make it.
