Wow I'm really surprised that Roger built a boat without full stringers but looking at your pix, well there you go (yours look like 3/4). If you are dead set on putting a floor in it most floors are between the stringers set down at the bottom of the stringers to flush out the center keel. I would leave it alone. A flat floor can be nice for the family but knowing what's going on with your hull by not covering it all up would make me feel more comfortable. What you have, given the date of it's mfg., is a Rogers Cyclone. It's a fast boat but be aware of it's high speed handling. The deep bow has a tendency to grab in a turn and punch out the occupants. Realize I'm talking about the days when we raced it. Keeping your HP down and driving it always as if the family is with you, you will be fine. You may want to have an expert check it out to make sure it doesn't have a hook in the bottom. Old boats can develop one if not fitted to the trailer properly. If you do have a hook a good boat shop (like B&K Boat Repair, Bellflower) can get it fixed if you don't feel like getting to know fiberglass.
