Now that boat has Bob written all over it.    Running that AMC would be like penance he owes the Jetboat God's wouldn't it ?   Surely that boat could be had for $3700 dontcha think?

I think you are underestimating the paint by half, not to mention the labor and time of pulling everything apart.  If it was me I would look elsewhere but I know many folks here would feel differently.    The Beezer name does carry a certain cachet but I don't know what that is worth to you.
Obviously any guy who parts with a CZ has questionable smarts.     :screwy:            Sorry I had to . . .    >:D

I think you are right. Besides, the warden said when I am I going to come up with all this time to redo a boat when I have tow bikes scattered cross the garage, the tractor apart for a steering gear, the lights out on the arena, and when am I going to start building the block fence?

SHE says buy one turn key. Gotta love her for that!

Thanks for the lead...
is an AMC a decent marine conversion? (I think "pacer" when I hear AMC).  What are the downsides to the open bow? The warden wants a fast boat (she says) with room for six. heh heh! Right on!
SHE says no more projects as I have two bikes scattered across the garage, block work to do, need to fix the tractor and  fix a,b and c.

Gotta Love her.

Anybody wanna go see the Tahiti or give me some pointers over the tele? 3307915area623
Thank you!

I would stay away from the SB AMC. Not going to be enough power for that big of a boat with the open bow.

And the guy is over priced!

hi-
went to see the 82 Tahiti w 454 and was really impressed with the condition, the owner, and  the options on the boat.
As in.... I bought it.  As soon as I get some pics I will post em!
Thanks here to the forum for the rapid education gleaned from prior posts and the help from yous who helped me get to boat much quicker than I thought I would.

There is one of the big boys parked on my street this week.  Appears to be 23-24 ft.   I didn't know Biesmeyer made Sleekcraft  Executive-type cruisers.  It's got the side sliding windows AND an open bow with an upholstered snap on pad covering it for lady lounging.   Very nice condition, very ugly brown paint.  Outdrive.
No Ray its not for sale.   Last year he had an blown alcohol flatty but he isn't a very friendly sort so I don't have any details on either one.

Glasscutter-
check out the redframe in my prior post.

So many boats, so little time. I cannot wait to give the Tahiti a run this week.
Any suggestions on where to purchase a complete Bimini set up?

Plenty around, but theres a lil shop a couple doors down from my lil brother's machine shop in Tempe that makes custom ones. I'll text him for the number if I can't find the card in the truck. He wanted to do one for the Moo, but just no way to secure one on that thing when down, and looks rediculous on it....... :screwy:
