I bought a 1973 horizon 17ft jet boat. it came with a 455 olds in it and shitty interior. I had the upholestry redone and bought some ott headers for the boat and then found a small crack by the runner, after further investigating and sanding i found catastrophic damage. So my hull is shit and i spent 300$ invested in the hull and 1500 in headers and upholestry. Im only 18 and im way over my head. Im eager to get into the jet boat community but now i cant float! Please if anyone has a spare hull for dirt cheap or nothing ill come get it i have a trailer i just have to strip my boat and throw the hull away I  need help bad i met a cool dude on this forum and he told me that the jet boat community is strong and too see if i cant swing a deal. im trying to get a boat put together so i can make it to the parker meet. i heard the bayjets were similar if not exact copies of berkeleys. dont know how true that is though...

The similarities are huge and many parts will exchange and interchange within the two jets , the intake , for example has the same basic footprint as the Berk 12j a,b,c&g but a few bolt holes need relocating to make the swap , the biggest down side to the Bayjet is the bowl and a simple upgrade to a Bayjet is a Berk or aftermarket bowl (worth instant MPH) call if we can help or answer questions Tom
