Good job Hotrod, Noce to see you had a trouble free weekend!
that's a long ways to walters
hope you didnt spend all your fun chips....i cant wait till next weekend to see this boat (and all the others) in action!
i dont but im all for stuffin shit in her ass to make her go away
Rod wouldn't even think about putting the boat on jack stands with out at least a towel , right Rod ! Right ...... -beerjet-
yeah, those things will punch holes through your hull in no time.
get the jack stays out of there. go get some boat foam
to much weight in one spot
How in the flock are they going to punch holes in the hull?
Beerjet should have bet me. The trailer is taking waaayyyyy too long to get into shape.
then why the hell do they bother to put bunks on the trailer? to distribute the weight evenly...
That is my exact trailor
hotrod, congrats on the boat and getting her in the water! Man, I love white trailers, they look so clean. There's nothing wrong with setting your boat up on jack stand like you did, just make sure to use something inbetween the stand and the hull. Old buffing pads work great. You don't need bunk pads on a trailer. Thousands and thousands of boat trailers don't use them, they use rollers instead and they do the job just fine. Bunks are used to properly retain the shape of the bottom of the boat. And a good fitting trailer is key to this, and one that fits poorly will ruin the bottom in a very short time.
I have to agree with trailers takin up WAY too much time.....I thought I would have kyles done in a couple of days....its been weeks and we have been working hard on it......its still not done!Keep up the good work! dont give up now!
i thought all the flat bottoms touched the trailer like that....
