Got the new bunks made up and mounted them today! Still need to make new sides for the fenders.

Went to Harolds shop today and did some work to the boat! I got the keel all roughed up and ready to do some building up with duraglass. Also got the sides polished out while its off the trailer and flipped. here are a few more pics!

I cant remember the name of it but it is harolds stuff he had. ti comes in a gallon bucket for a hundred bucks and it works bitchen. you just brush it on and buff with a wheel.

I have a friend who paid a guy $700 for the scoop off his boat at the river. And it was really close to the first metal scoop you made.

Here are some progress pic of the bottom of the boat. Used balsa wood to build up the bottom and then they will add fiberglass to blend it into the boat

Why are you adding material to the bottom? I'm not nitpicking, just curious.

Harold says these boats were designed for outboards so he fills in the bottom and puts a rocker in it so it sets back and carries the nose. He has done lots of these in the past. He says that once he is done setting my boat up and with the 540ci motor im building it will run in the 110's
