Lots of fires down south in S.D. County as well. All 4 of our kids schools are closed for the day. My G/F's work was also closed for today as well, most of her co-workers said they couldn't make it to work due to freeway closures. Me, I'm sick as hell with some sort of flu/cold combo and have to work. Waaaaaaa  :'(

Just got to work....

Here is some pics I took on my way here...

I just got a phone call saying the houses are now on fire.....don't know how true this stands though...its 3rd hand info... I think im gunna head back home soon just to keep an eye on shit.

The tile roof in front of the commercial building is my apartment complex...

YA fiance's grandma has already been moved from lake arrowhead, its going up there pretty good....she is suposed to go to my wedding on saturday, i hope she got some clothes....

I took another handfull of pictures today after I got back home....all is well with this fire and as far as i know no houses burned down.....the other fires werent so nice....i heard 128 homes have burned down in arrowhead and they wont see air support until tomorrow due to high winds.  :(

i will post some pictures later when im done exercising my muscles in my arm in an up/down left/right motion.

glad to hear your safe as of now. Thats too close for comfort, used to work for forestry service (many moons ago),
