Can't go wrong with Embee they do a very good job, but like anything good u have to pay for it. I've had stuff done by Embee that they weren't happy with and redid it themselves before I ever even saw it. They are a great company to work with, u won't be disappointed.

Made the appointment to drop my boat of at B1 tomorrow. New rigging (get rid of the old school 3 point) and rework the pump (add Place Diverter, snoot, ride plate, etc). Any Sprint guys running the Snoot on their Sprint? I'm not completely sure it's needed. Any feedback would be appreciated. Now the biggest question, How much horsepower will the boat have in the future? Who knows? One very cool thing is, my son-in-laws boat (JacksEliminator) is coming out and mine is going in! Can't wait until we get them both on the water.

Picked up the pump today after a rebuild. I'm stoked to see the difference I see from the inducer and new style diverter.

Welcome to SCJB.

I was wondering if your question might get lost in this thread. There are a few guys running Sprints.
Here is a thread about your question http://www.socaljetboats.com/jet-pumps/eliminator-sprints/msg222233/#msg222233.

Here is a link to the search results of "eliminator sprint".  http://www.socaljetboats.com/search2/
There are a lot of different threads about sprints.
It seems most do run a snoot on theirs. If B1 recommended it, then I would think it will benefit your ride.
Let us know the results after you get it back and run it.

Just went through that nightmare on a Hallett bubble deck with a Lightening rail kit and an MSD starter.

Can you rotate it CCW (viewed from the picture) and it will clear the block and pan?

The hole for the 153-tooth flywheel can be machined entirely off.

I was able to clock the starter just enough to clear rail kit barely

Thanks for the links. I figured it was a question asked before. Good info, great site. I'm looking forward to getting my boat updated and back on the water. Hopefully catch an event or two soon. Thanks again.
