All i do is talk about jet boats and being at the river with the guys at work, they look at me like i'm crazy,working on boats and being at the river give's me peace of mind from a long week of work, they talk about country music and horseback riding, anybody relate to this

Where I work fast cars and boats are a common-place. The President of the company at 65 has a high 9-second Harley and a road king that is pulling mid 11's. Coupla old engine builders, like George Vellios who built Porsche Engines back in the day for the Le Mans cars. Steve Ryle used to run with the fuelers back in his day and was actually one of the few to break 100 in a jet boat back in the late 60's.
Just about everyone else has a fast chevelle and one guy's got a 528 Hemi in an ugly ass little purple Dodge.
Chief and I seem to have it pretty good in that way. The new push around here is the Diesel's. They're all trying to beat eachother with their diesels. I think the fastest one is in the low 12's.

I was just curious as to how many people are planning on showing up still? I just called the bridge inn and Beerjet still has 8 of his ten rooms left.

Appearantly people are just getting rooms on there own which is all good . I reserved the rooms with the intent that some folks would wait , do to work or projects , till the last second and still have a room available .
I'LL HOLD THESE ROOMS TILL THE WEEK OF THE TRIP AND THEN I'M CANCELLING THE REST OF THE ROOMS ! Then your on your own . You can reserve a room and cancell it with in 24 hours of the date (WHICH WOULD BE MY SUGGESTION!) If you cant make it .

if you guys need at least one good reason to go, this guy is it. it was a blast hangin with this dude at the avi last year....lookin forward to it again this year at parker.
