The amount of horsepower that your engine has will determine how much fuel flow is required to support that engine. As horsepower increases so does the volume of fuel required to support that power. A good estimator of volume to power is approximately 10 hp per gallon or 2.64 hp per liter. For example if your pump flows at 50 gph it should be able to support a 500 hp engine (50 x 10 = 500). However, to actually know the gph you must also consider the fuel pressure required for your engine

That, and you cant go off of the ratings on these pumps. They are not accurate once you add in your hoses, fittings, etc.

thats a good pump. Just make sure your tanks are clean. Or run a pre-filter

My Olds : I'll be using stock(upgraded Mondello pump)mechanical fuel pump w/ a Summit regulater and Holley d/P line kit.
That 1st pic is Bunger's inn-gine......soo sweet. (Hope he's not pissed for using it)I think.
Second is mine that I'll use one of these days.Life's getting in the way tho.

I believe that's Bunger's engine. That's an oil pressure auxiliary oil pressure gauge.

The white face gauge was a water pressure gauge I was using to get my relief valve dialed. Bottom gauge is a mechanical oil pressure and top is fuel pressure. The water pressure was just temporary

I saved 3 checks to buy mine and even then summit gave me credit for the a aeromotive I was returning
