What are the pros and cons of a set back jet ? Is it worth the money to do it ?

what will happen to mine 19'daytona

I have seen alot of 19'daytonas with set back pumps. Basicly it is a set up to go fast. It puts less of the boat in the water. I had a 18' hondo t-deck with a set back jet and it was set up for drags basicly. It did not turn but it was a rocket going strait. The nice part about a set back pump is if you suck up something in the jet your inspection cover is outside the boat! I dont know how much it will cost you because my boat was already done.

Ouch! That seems like alot of money. I would just do it myself.

seems like a hell of a lot of $$$$$, shouldn't the diverter do the same thing (get the boat out of the water)?

can you get a picture of where yours is at in relation to the back of the boat and i will compare to mine

  well the back of my intake is 7" from the rear of the boat and the block is 11" so now what ?

let me finish it first then you can buy it for 50$

i still have the four winns if no one buys it by next summer im just going to use it as a trade in on a new boat

where is tom? he might be able to tell us what the differences will be between my set up and yours and what type of gains you would see if you reset your intake or if there is a more cost effective way of achieving the same end result
