Lol Poor Keith, I felt so bad.

He rode upriver to the sandbar with someone and I offered him to ride back in the Moo, which promptly would not start AFTER we pushed off, lol (Bad battery we figured out about an hour later) so he's a floating away with me for about a half hour when Brad came by and, well reader's digest version, towed me in where I changed out the battery for the spare one in the truck.

Wouldn't get back in it, but did get in his own boat, then at dusk see HIS boat being towed in by Brad!

Keith, better days are coming! For what its worth, you boat sounded GREAT! Better than it did at mead and far quicker!

I guess I see what you mean about your wife breaking more expensive parts than you ever did, lol.

Ray

She's still a doll tho! She's the one that told me (At Temple Bar) to learn to roll in and out of the rollers with as flat a boat as I have imstead of trying to power through them,  and I've learned that!

John, it was an honor to meet you! You, your wife and kids are great! yeah, the lake lice were nuts early on Sunday, and had I not had my own issues (Texting everyone back with a hangover) going on back here, I'da prolly fixed them REAL quick, I have a short temper.  (A few very close high speed passes and doughnuts with the Moo at full of roost as she can get woulda solved that methinks). Woulda at least stopped them asswipes from doing all the spinouts and doughnuts in front of us.

I've done it before, without a PD, lol. (Even roosted another asswipe off a jet ski chasing the Blue Meaney down when I had her). Roost is a good offensive weapon to have!!!!

Ray

Gotta inform everyone though, Glasscutters boat is IMMACULATE!!!!! Never seen anything that clean!! You guys that took off Saturday missed a great looking boat!

My uncle retired (the second time) about a year and a half ago from there. Ran the Machine Shop for 30 some years. Last month I guess they were trying to get him to come back again. But just thought you might know him. Ask around, I'm sure you'll find someone that knows Ron. (My brother, the boat burner, still does contract work for Empire too that Ron hooked up).

Anyway, offers still, and always, good. More than happy to help out and lend a wrench or a part or two if you need it, welcome to SCJB!

I'm gonna toss dates out there to see where everyone is on this. How about the weekend of August 22/23 rd? 2 weekends before Labor day (I know a lot of us have plans for that), and doesn't conflict with anything I know of. Could even be the following weekend of the 29/30 th, you all vote on which. I can do either, but with kids this time, lol. (Which is gonna cramp my style a bit off the water, but OK)

Just what I need, ANOTHER project, lol. BUT, that'll fill the empty trailer in the front yard!

Yeah yeah yeah, lol. Actually I think the No BS was aimed at the engine. But, to my thinking, how could I POSSIBLY lose TWO Biesemeyers??? Odds are in my favour on this, lol.

I asked for pics of the damage, will forward them to you since you and Tom are the only ones I know of that can tell me if it's worth doing it or not!

Ray

I need a Craig's list blocker or sumpin'. Wouldn't it be fukin' sweet if my buds are able to recover what's left of the old one?

This is gonna need a lot of work! BUT, since so many of my friends and brother, owe me some time on it, might not be a bad project! Gonna go look at it tomorrow after work !

Pretty much all of the above! X2, cept I have 4 extinguishers on the Moo (1 required). Didn't know about the vests and lifeline thingy, not even real sure what the life line is, (Engine cutoff tied to your vest?). But I am definately on or over Glenn's threshold on this one. Though I don't do it very often.

On the sound level, never had any problems with open headers, water injected. Now, two guys at Big River had non-injected zoomies with huge blowers on their pickleforks and noone seemed to mind, sooo, I guess it's relative to where you go. But on the letter of the law, my deisel truck would prolly not pass that test.

Crap, that picture makes me sick to my stomach.  Sorry to see this.

Me too John! But it could have been MUCH worse had anyone been injured or killed. Much like your shop fire easily could have.

I shared all the info I have on this ordeal because I think we all need to ba aware, and obviously, some of us are taking it to heart. In which case I succeeded.

Also wanted to because several members here have been on this boat, lol. (I Think Omar was a little reluctant to climb aboard the Moo last Saturday, but he did it!)

Wanted to post the Videos that were sent to me of it, but they're a funky XP file style that I can't upload to Photobucket then link it here.

The last picture is what's known as a douche-a-tunity

Lol yes it was, and Brad DID start to up the diverter when he towed me in on saturday, lmao!.

I was following him pretty closely going under the bridge to see for sure if he was in fact touching it (I beleive he was), and got a bit of a shower that time too, lol.

Didn't know my roost was going THAT far back, didn't look too impressive from my seat. I wonder how it was when I was really on the thing?

Thanks Brad!

If you work at Empire, then you prolly know my crazy a$$ uncle that inspired me to build these fokkers! Ronnie Fields.

My drive is only 24 miles one way, takes about 35 minutes, ain't as far as you probably drive, lol.

Sounds like there might be some interest in this, Jimmy (alamojummy) and Tony (Aquaholic) are scoping it out as a possibility. I was thinking late July or August maybe. I dunno, any thoughts?

Marc's boat shits and gets! Lemme tell you!

Ray

And it IS gray! Not white, lol

He could easily, but he'd need a base to measure from as a starting point. I don't have any Chebbie stuff here, but his partner prolly does (Has a BAD ass 72 El Camino). I'll text him next break I get, lol

Ray

4175
I have no idea what the base material even costs. He's in Chicago for this week, but I'll get with him on that when he gets back.

I would figure as a wild ass guess, if he has saved all the UniGraphics data, making more should be a snap, shouldn't be more than the standard SCJB price if fitty bucks, IMO. Could be off a bit though, so don't hold me to that, lol. But this is not to make a profit. I realized how hard it is to find such pulleys for a Ford over the last couple of weeks, which is why I bought the ones I did off Ebay and asked him to make a kinda combination of the two in a single sheave if he could.

I Guess I need to take off my stainless Super Cobra Jet mounts and have him maybe make up a package? I dunno. 'twas a thought guys, if you're interested, I'll work on him, lol. He's a busy guy, what with his job (Traveling as much as he does) and his own machine and injection mold shop here in Tempe (2 man operation, but they can make anything!, mostly just prototypes for people).

Ray

And yeah, still postin under the table today, lmao what a bunch of horsesh*t this is! Cut MY vacation short for THIS!!!????
