You gonna leave one slightly longer to even out....I still thing you need to find a set of m/t valve covers or get a set of spacers for what you had.

No doubt the morosos suck. Looking into the spacer route. But for 200+ I could just get a set of manifold friendly covers too. Prolly toss my. New covers up for sale.

You need the angled valve cover....but a spacer would let ya keep your direction. The valvers you HAD on were bitchn.

im just wondering about the spacer and possible exhaust leaks, having to buy 4 gaskets or a big sloppy silicone mess trying to bolt em up. im a big fan of KISS. keep it simple stupid.

With a good set of fel pro's...no need for silicone and some nice ss allen bolts....The spacer will allow you to see your covers better anyway. The small displacement will correct itself in the rubber if you already have holes cut in your trans...

Use good copper gaskets, you won't be sorry

I wouldnt suggest copper with those aluminum headers. I have used copper with aluminum and it leaked added silicone and still leaked....I went with a set of felpro from beans crankshaft in east co and never again and have reused em once without a leak yet.

Those seats look good man, glad to see you kept the round seat shape. Most of the places I went were trying to make mine square, not very fitting for a nostalgic jet. Color is clean also, keep it up.

yeah and honestly i like the round look a little more. the boat is more round and honestly its not a bad ass racing boat with top notch stuff in it. i wanted something simple and easy to maintain. a lot of those square modern seats also have a lot more bolstering to em and take up more room.

found a place that makes bbc 1/2" exhaust manifold spacers for a fraction of the cost so i can get back to using my fabricated valve covers... they even have the little bolts off the sides so u can get em mounted up first before trying to fandangle em on while holding a big manifold.

demon carb fuel line

exhaust pipe mock up

dropped the exhaust off today to be welded up and then hopefully ill have time to send it off to be polished up. if not ill just run it ugly for a little while...

the previous exhaust logs, snails, exhaust tube, and trumpet tips are for sale if anyones interested.
