Forward that shit along bro.

My wife has to eat gluten free because of a wheat allergy (celiac disease) and we are always looking to improve our menu.

This sounds awesome.

BTW, I did 4 trail miles Saturday with no level grounds traveled, very hilly.

We do to it's awesome. The wife and I quit eating white things like bread, pasta
And the hardest to give up flour tortillas. I was at 220 right after Christmas and I'm now floating around
189 to 192.after about a month you don't miss things so much and if your lucky and have a wife that cooks good you can have healthy meals that are good. I have learned that most things that are made with wheat flour just turn to sugar and pack on fat.i have also learned that if it's not in the house you don't want to eat it so much. We also gave are self a cheat day on Sunday but after about two months and you start getting smaller you don't want the cheat day and when you eat some thing bad you fell like crap. Keep it up and hang in there it's worth it,because it's so nice to bend over and be able to breath lol it has made my job much easier.

Well guys i think its time for me to lose some weight .i will be 30 in a few months and i have packed  on some pounds.i have noticed  i get out of breath  running up the  stairs  and my man boobs are starting  to sag like an 80 year old  granny.i have a 15 month old son and a daughter  on the way . I would  like to get in shape  for me and them . I started running  again last week and was surprised  i could still do it.im 6'7" and weigh 340 pounds  ,in my prime when i was working out and mma training  i was 230 pounds but also used  drugs.i would like to get back to at least 260 the healthy  and drug free way. I was thinking maybe others  would  want to join and post up pictures  before and afters,Their routines  and diets. Maybe help some fellow  boaters with some support  to look good in their floats. Also lost weight  is horsepower gained and a larger pecker. Lol
I thought a bunch of guys on here tried this already?

I think I'll try. It's hard for me. I have 0 will power. But I have to lose it. It's hard for me to say this and show this picture. Last year I was up around 500. I'm now down bout a hundred, and I have about another 150 to go. Driving trucks for a living doesn't help any.  I'm sick of my coworkers making fun of my size. People don't understand how much that hurts. I know how to eat correctly,  but I just get too lazy when it comes to eating right. I'm starting to walk again, and hopefully things will change for me. It's a long and very lonely road. So let's see if being on here will make a difference.

I have never been in your position, so I won't pretend I know how you feel. I will say that it took some serious courage to come on here and call yourself out like that.

You have every bit of support from me that I can muster.

Just knowing others are having some of the same struggles as you has to help.

I wish you all the success in the world brother.

Just do it. You need to keep your eye on the prize. I think it's more of a mindset than anything else.

Give that little voice in your head some power. Listen to it.

As it was mentioned earlier in the thread its a lifestyle change not a diet. In this day and age we live a modern lifestyle that doesn't require a lot of bread and the like. We are not exactly plowing the fields as in back in the day when technology didn't exist.

There's a very informative book titled 'Wheat Belly' that explains the evolution of wheat and wheat products and how they affect the body. Definitely worth the read if you're interested in understanding and not just following a prescribed plan.

You can still eat meats. It's the processed food and carbs that kill.
